sand

Washed Concrete Sand (Washed Blended Sand): Water-washed and distinguished sand product. Consistent Fineness Modulus (FM), granular sand material. Commonly referred to as Washed Concrete Sand. Tan/dark yellow color complexion.​​

Bank Sand: Naturally sourced raw sand material. Unwashed and intermittently found with small to medium sized river stones.

Coarse Grit Sand (Washed Manufactured Sand): Coarse grit sand material, sourced through the classification and sluicing process of rock-based stone dust. Recurrently found with tiny stone chips and a dark gray appearance.

Screened Sand: Dry sifted derivative of Bank Sand, fine powder-like granular sand. Typically consists of some small pebbles approximately ½” in size.

GRAVEL

3/4” Crushed Gravel: Finely processed gravel material. Used for final road grades, driveways and other pavement projects. Dark tan/light brown in color.  ​

​​3” Crushed Gravel: Heavy base processed gravel. Blended with 3” rock size and is a durable, coarse gravel material with exceptional compaction and durability. Applied for sub-grade fill and roadway stabilization methods.

1 1/2” Crushed Gravel: General purpose granular processed gravel. Crushed and blended to a workable particle size. Great for backfill, roadway building & washout repairs.

​​​3/4” Stone Base: A blended and manufactured base material with traces of stone dust, 3/8” and ¾” stone. Offers a wide variety of uses for driveways and road surfaces. Smoke gray in color. 

STONE

1/2” Stone: General purpose washed stone, medium duty aggregate. Generally used for underground drainage.

3/4” Washed Stone: General purpose crushed stone product, provides drainage support and excellent workability.

​1 1/2” Stone: A classic coarse selection of washed rock material. This sizeable aggregate offers stability for outflow drains and other pervious applications. 

​1 1/2” Double Washed Stone: Refined and cleansed variant of our 1-1/2” washed stone. Exceptionally clean and used for septic and drainage systems.  

​3-4” Surge Stone: Crusher-run large rock material. Heavy stone resourced and impact screened- Frequently used for mud control, driveway entrances and ground stabilization.

​6-8” Erosion Stone: Heavy crushed rock material. This bulky stone blend is typically used to secure erosion and retention structures, and to help prevent sedimentary discharge.

​Stone dust: A powder-like dusty blend of fine particles with intermittent stone chips. Manufactured from the stone crushing and dry screening process. Typically applied in masonry and bricklaying. 

​3” Recycled Concrete: Heavy crusher-run concrete based material. Sourced from reclaimed Red T Mix concrete. Ideal for fill/lift applications that require a high compaction coefficient.  ​

Blasted Ledge: Quarry machine-sourced bulk boulders. For pick-up only.

Concrete Blocks: We carry two sizes, 2x2x3 and 2x2x6 in both locations for pick-up. For deliveries please call the office.

​1 1/2” Recycled Concrete: a reclaimed, fine concrete- based fill material. Composed of a recycled and re-crushed Red T Mix concrete. Exceptional workability, commonly used as a fine fill skim layer when combined with our 3” RECON product. 

​Fill: Granular, common fill. Referred to as overburden, fillings, and borrow material. Consists of glacial till sourced earthen materials with minimal boulders.

​Washings: Clay-based material; a by-product of stone cleansing procedure. Used to captivate water for screened loam and grass applications, pond bed liners and different clay applications.
